SPECIAL FORMAT FOR THE MAIN EVENT

As a hallmark of the VPT Milano, the Main Event (and Warm Up) will feature a unique structure inspired by the Italian Poker Room format. This innovative approach, successfully implemented in 2024, guarantees impressive participation, drawing local and international players alike.

The structure incorporates an extra initial stage, accessible at a lower cost, creating a more inclusive and dynamic tournament experience. 

Here’s how it works:

• Days 1:
  • Buy-in: 100€ (The first 3 flights has a special prize of 80€)
  • Starting Stack: 50.000 chips
  • Late Reg: 10 levels
  • Ten separate flights, each played down to 20% of the field.
  • Players who advance qualify for Day 2.
• Days 2:
  • Buy-in: 350€ (equivalent to the starting days of the rest of the VPT festivals)
  • Starting Stack: 300.000 chips (starts at 1.000/2.500)
  • Late Reg: 10 levels
  • Four flights in total, combining qualifiers from Day 1 and new entries.
  • Played down to 15% ITM of each Day 2 (qualifiers from Day 1 + new entries).
• Day 3:
  • Registration closed. 
  • All Day 2 survivors converge, and players are In the Money (ITM).
• Final Day:
  • The remaining players battle it out to crown the champion.

TRAVEL TIPS

Renting a car is highly recommended!

Some tips when you Rent A Car:

• Milan is easily accessible via 3 different airports: Linate (25 min), Malpensa (40 min), and Bergamo (50 min).
• Join other groups of players to rent a car together to save some money.
• Check that the round trip is to the same airport for cheaper rental. 
• in Most companies in Italy, require a CREDIT card to rent a car. 
• In some streets in the Hotel/Poker Room area it is prohibited to drive at night, so ALWAYS leave your car in the Hotel Parking and give your correct license plate to the reception to use their permits.
