Play the Vamos Poker Tour tournaments and earn points by reaching the in-the-money positions. Every festival has its own MVP Ranking naming the best player of the stop, with a minimum of €5,000 guaranteed in prizes for the next VPT festival. Free and open to everyone.

Minimum €5,000 guaranteed at every stop
VPT withholds 2% of every tournament prize pool for the MVP Ranking. If it falls short of €5,000, VPT covers the rest; if it exceeds it, the prizes grow. At least 10 players awarded per festival, with entries for the next VPT festival.

Entries valid only at the next VPT festival or the announced partner festival. Transferable to another player, only in full. They expire at the end of the season (1 December 2026).
How it works
Points, prizes and rules

Register and give your VPT ID
Free and open to everyone. Create your account in the VPT app and give your VPT ID at the cashier when you register for your first tournament of the festival. Only the numbered # events of the official schedule count; satellites do not.

Earn points by cashing
Every ITM earns GPI points: higher buy-in, more entries and a better finish give more points. Only players in the money score (minimum 10 players per tournament). Ladies and Seniors do not score and deals are scored by ICM.

Win entries for the next festival
The standings are fixed after the last tournament (48 hours to claim). To be eligible for a prize you must have played at least 2 events of the festival. The VPT team contacts the winners by email or WhatsApp.
Frequently asked questions
How can I participate in the MVP Ranking? Is it free?+
Everyone can take part: just register on the VPT app and give your VPT ID at the cashier when you register for the first tournament at each casino. It’s completely free. By playing the tournaments and finishing in the money you earn points; once the festival ends the ranking is set and the VPT team contacts the winners by email or WhatsApp.
What are the minimum guaranteed prizes?+
A €5,000 minimum per festival, with prizes for the next VPT festival and at least 10 paid players. If the 2% raised exceeds €5,000, prizes increase accordingly. Prizes are transferable to another player, but only in full.
Where does the MVP Ranking money come from?+
From 2% of the prize pool of every tournament at the festival. If it falls short of the guarantee, VPT covers the difference; if it exceeds it, prizes grow. At Troia, Bratislava and Lisbon local taxes are applied before the payout.
How does the GPI scoring system work?+
The Global Poker Index weighs the buy-in, the total number of entries and the final position. Only players in the money score, with a minimum of 10 players per tournament. GPI provides a calculator and the full rules on its official website.
