COOKIES POLICY
Vamos Poker Tour
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Kikuxo Events LTD (hereinafter, “VPT”, the “Controller” or “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the official Vamos Poker Tour website https://www.vamospokertour.com/ (hereinafter, the “Website”).
This Policy complements our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.
Non-essential cookies are only used with the User’s prior consent, which can be given, refused or changed at any time through the cookie banner (“Cookie settings” link in the Website footer).
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on the User’s device (computer, tablet or smartphone). This Policy also covers similar technologies used by the Website, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage). For simplicity, all of them are referred to as “cookies”.
3. Cookies used on the Website
The following list is complete: the Website does not use any other cookies. It does not use advertising, profiling or social media tracking cookies.
3.1. Strictly necessary (no consent required)
| Name | Provider | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| vpt-cookie-consent | VPT | Local storage | Remembers the choice made in the cookie banner. | 12 months |
| vpt-locale | VPT | Local storage | Remembers the language chosen by the User (Spanish or English). | Until deleted by the User |
| vpt-no-track | VPT | Local storage | Only on browsers of VPT staff: excludes their visits from the cookie-free audience measurement. | Until deleted |
| sb-rkaanxwiboazgutphwzx-auth-token | VPT (Supabase, servers in the EU) | Local storage | Keeps the User’s session open after logging in to their VPT account. Only exists for logged-in users. | Until the User logs out |
| vpt-booking-draft:<festival> | VPT | Session storage | Keeps the hotel booking form filled in while the User logs in or signs up. | Until the browser tab is closed |
3.2. Analytics (only with consent)
| Name | Provider | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Ireland Ltd (Google Analytics 4) | Cookie | Distinguishes visitors in order to produce aggregated usage statistics. | 2 years |
| _ga_ZSEZSF30VF | Google Ireland Ltd (Google Analytics 4) | Cookie | Keeps the state of the visit (session) for those statistics. | 2 years |
Google Analytics is only loaded after the User clicks “Accept”. It is configured with IP anonymisation and with advertising features disabled (no advertising, remarketing or personalisation signals). If the User later withdraws consent, these cookies are deleted.
3.3. Embedded videos
Some blog posts include YouTube videos embedded in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). In this mode YouTube does not store cookies when the page is loaded; it may only do so if the User decides to play the video, in which case Google’s privacy policy applies. Some pages also show images hosted on Flickr and YouTube thumbnails; loading them does not store cookies on the User’s device.
3.4. Cookie-free audience measurement
The Website also uses its own audience measurement system that does not use cookies and does not store or read any information on the User’s device. Each time a page is viewed, only the following is recorded: the page visited, the website the User came from (domain only), the type of device (mobile, tablet or computer) and the country, derived from the connection. The IP address is not stored: it is combined with the browser identifier and a random value that changes every day to generate an anonymous code, which allows unique visits to be counted for that day only. The random value is deleted the following day, so the code cannot be linked to the User or used to follow them across days or across other websites. This data is used solely to obtain aggregated visit statistics, is stored on our own infrastructure (Supabase, within the European Union) and is kept for a maximum of 13 months. Because this system does not use cookies or similar technologies, it does not require the User’s consent and works regardless of the choice made in the cookie banner.
4. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies: exempt from consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, as they are needed to provide the service requested by the User; processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a functional and secure Website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics cookies: based on the User’s prior consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive).
5. How to accept, reject or change your choice
On the first visit, a banner allows the User to Accept analytics cookies or choose Necessary only. Both options are shown at the same level. Until a choice is made, only strictly necessary cookies are used.
The User can change their choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the Website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. The choice is requested again every 12 months and whenever the cookies used change substantially.
6. Managing cookies from the browser
The User can also block or delete cookies and stored data from their browser settings:
- Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer

Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent some features from working (for example, staying logged in).
7. International data transfers
Google may process Google Analytics data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Google LLC is certified) and on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. More information in our Privacy Policy.
8. User rights
The User may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw consent, as explained in our Privacy Policy. The User also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
