Two new roles to join the Vamos Poker Tour team: on site at every festival and active between festivals. Apply by October 2nd.

The Vamos Poker Tour keeps growing, and so does the team behind it. With eight festivals a year across seven countries, the VPT App, the VIP System and the “Vamos a Las Vegas” Annual Ranking, we need more hands and more ideas to tell everything that happens on and off the tables.

We are opening two roles. Both travel to every festival and work between festivals. You can apply for one or for both.

Social Media Manager

Ideas, stories and rhythm for our social media, during festival week and between festivals.

  • Regular posts on Instagram, Facebook and X, plus stories and reels.
  • Answering messages and comments and looking after the community.
  • Getting sign-ups for the VPT App, hotel bookings and new followers.
  • VPT Games and new formats with players and Team Pro.
  • Social coverage from the floor at every festival: daily schedule, chip counts, bubble, final table and winner.

News Writer & Live Reporter

The written voice of the tour on the website and in the VPT App.

  • News articles: festival announcements, hotel packages, promotions, satellites, official statements and press releases.
  • Preview of every stop and wrap-up article with winner, top 10, MVP and Squad Battle.
  • Live coverage of the tournaments: entries, chip counts, eliminations, bubble, final table and payouts.
  • MVP Ranking and Annual Ranking updates.
  • Relationship with poker media.

Requirements

  • Basic poker knowledge
  • Social media skills (X, Instagram and Facebook)
  • Basic design skills
  • Basic AI skills
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Eagerness to learn and add value to the team
  • Availability to travel
  • Intermediate English

Nice to have

  • Broad knowledge of the live poker scene in Europe
  • Knowledge of the Vamos Poker Tour brand and history
  • Video editing
  • Photography
  • Previous experience in social media, writing and/or marketing
  • Advanced level in any of the basic requirements

How we work

Freelance part-time collaboration, with a monthly fee, an extra for every festival day on site and travel expenses covered. The next stops are VPT Murcia (October 12–18), VPT Sofia (November 2–8) and the Grand Final in Lisbon (November 23–29).

  3. The candidates who go through receive a practical test with real material from the tour, and the finalists join us for a day at VPT Murcia.

  • Design and video are already covered by the team. We are looking for the people who bring the ideas, the words and the pace.
  • Spanish and English are the working languages. Portuguese or Italian are welcome.
  • You will be part of a small team that travels together and shares the festival week from the first shuffle to the last hand.
