TheĀ Vamos Poker TourĀ is already in full swing at one of Europe’s most iconic poker venues āĀ King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech RepublicĀ ā and the competition doesn’t stop at the prize pool. Running fromĀ February 23 to March 2, 2026, VPT Rozvadov brings not only a staggeringĀ ā¬1,000,000 guaranteedĀ across 12 tournaments, but also one of the most exciting loyalty rewards in the European poker circuit: theĀ MVP Ranking, with a guaranteedĀ ā¬5,000 in added prizesĀ up for grabs at every single stop.
What Is the VPT MVP Ranking
The MVP Ranking is aĀ festival-wide leaderboardĀ that runs alongside every Vamos Poker Tour stop throughout the 2026 season. At the conclusion of each festival, the players who accumulated the most points across all eligible tournaments are rewarded withĀ entries to the next VPT festivalĀ ā in this case,Ā VPT BucharestĀ (March 16ā22, 2026).
For the VPT Rozvadov, the prizes are entirely added by the VPT organization on top of the regular prize pools, making the MVP Ranking a true bonus competition running in parallel with the main events.
At VPT Rozvadov, the prize breakdown is as follows:
- š„Ā 1st PlaceĀ ā Main Event Entry (ā¬350) + High Roller Entry (ā¬700) =Ā ā¬1,050 total
- š„Ā 2nd PlaceĀ ā High Roller Entry (ā¬700) + Side Event Entry (ā¬100ā150) =Ā +ā¬800 total
- š„Ā 3rd PlaceĀ ā High Roller Entry (ā¬700)
- 4ļøā£āšĀ 4th through 10th PlaceĀ ā Main Event Entry (ā¬350 each)
All prizes are valid exclusively forĀ VPT BucharestĀ or the next designated partner festival. They are non-refundable butĀ transferableĀ to another player, as long as the full prize is transferred in its entirety ā it cannot be split between multiple players, and this new player dont have any other entry from the MVP Ranking.
How Does the Scoring System Work?
Points are calculated using the globally recognized GPI (Global Poker Index) formula, the same system used by professional poker circuits worldwide. The GPI scoring model takes into account three key factors that reward both skill and ambition:
The first factor is the buy-in level of each tournament. Higher buy-in events are assumed to attract more elite competition, so they award proportionally more points. The second factor is the total number of entries ā the larger the field you conquer, the more points you receive, regardless of re-entries. The third factor is your final position within the money. Only ITM finishes award points, and the higher you climb, the bigger your point haul.
To be eligible for any MVP prize, a player must have participated inĀ at least 3 eligible eventsĀ during the festival. Points are only awarded in tournaments marked with aĀ # symbolĀ on the official VPT schedule ā satellites do not count. The Ladies Event and Senior Event are also excluded from the ranking.
