During 2026, every Vamos Poker Tour event will have an MVP Ranking award, which will name the best player of the festival.

Each festival will have a minimum of 5.000€ guaranteed in the MVP Ranking, with prizes for the next VPT festival or an upcoming partner festival (minimum 10 players paid):

• 1º: Main Event Entry (350€) + High Roller Entry (700€) (1.050€ total prize)
• 2º: Main Event Entry (350€) + 100-150€ Side Event Entry (+800€ total prize)
• 3º: High Roller Entry (700€ total prize)
• 4º – 10º: Main Event Entry (350€)

The Main Event entry and the VPT credits won in the MVP Ranking can ONLY be used in the next VPT festival or the specified partner festival.

MVP Ranking prizes are transferable to another player. The prize money won at each festival can only be transferred entirety; the total prize pool cannot be split between 2 or more players.

The tournaments that qualify for the MVP Ranking in each festival are the Events that have a number with a # in front of them on the official schedule. (Satellites are NOT included)

Once all tournaments in a festival have finished, final standings will be established. Players have 48 hours to submit any complaints or report any issues. After those 48 hours, no changes will be made.

If any obvious and egregious errors are found after those 48 hours, they will be corrected for the Annual Ranking, but will not be considered for the MVP Ranking of that festival.

After the end of the event, the VPT will contact the winning players via Email or WhatsApp.

The VPT organization will deduct 2% of the prize pool in every tournament for the MVP Ranking.

If the minimum amount of GTD is not covered with the 2% fee, the VPT will cover the remaining prizes.

If the 2% exceeds the amount of GTD, the prizes will be increased accordingly.

All money raised during the festival for the MVP Ranking will be distributed among the players of the festival itself.

In some festivals, we will deduct the local taxes before giving out the prizes.: Troia (18%), Bratislava (23%), and Lisbon (50%)

The tickets won in the MVP Ranking during the VPT 2026 festivals will expire once VPT 2026 concludes (December 1, 2026). All unused tickets will be lost.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE MVP RANKING?

Everyone can participate in the MVP Ranking; you just need to register on the VPT Club (just register on our website). And… ¡of course it is completely free!.

Simply go to https://www.vamospokertour.com/register and become a member.

By playing the Vamos Poker Tour tournaments and finishing in the ITM places, players will earn points.

Once all the tournaments in a festival have finished, the final ranking will be set, and the VPT team will contact the winning players via email or WhatsApp.

Remember: Only the Events that have a number with a # in front of them on the VPT official schedules will award points. (Satellites are NOT included)

HOW DOES THE MVP RANKING SCORING SYSTEM WORK?

The tournaments that qualify for the MVP Ranking award are the Events that have a number with a # in front of them on the official VPT schedules.

The scoring system used will be the Global Poker Index (GPI).

This scoring system is based mainly on 3 factors:

• Buy-in: As bigger is the buy-in more points will be awarded. This factor addresses the concept of relative difficulty for the event. Larger buy-in events presume that the difficulty of the field is greater because more elite players enter higher buy-in events.
• Number of total players: the number of total entries in each event will be taken into account, regardless of the re-entries there are. The bigger the field, the more points will be distributed.
• Final Position: Only players who enter “in the money” in each event will receive points. The better your final position in each event, the more points you will get.

There is a minimum of 10 players in the tournament to award points. 

The Ladies Event and Senior Event will NOT award points.

If an extra prize is established for the bubble player or players (“take money for the bubble”), those players in the extra prize positions will NOT get points for the MVP Ranking. Only officially paid positions will receive points. If the bubble/first ITM place is shared by 2 players, both will get 50% of the points awarded for the first spot ITM. 

If players reach an agreement by ICM, the points will also be distributed by ICM. If the agreement is made in equal parts, the remaining points will be distributed equally.

To opt for any prize in the MVP award, a player must have participated in at least 2 events during the festival.

At the end of each day, we will upload the provisional MVP Ranking on the VPT Official Website and Social Media.
